The relationship between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been officially separated, according to BJP president JP Nadda. In a media interview, Nadda stated that the party has grown independent of the RSS and no longer requires any hand-holding from the patriarch. This revelation, which comes during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, breaks the RSS's strategy of not publicly stating anything that could challenge its organizational monolith. The revelation is considered a virtual declaration of BJP's independence from the RSS.
