Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is promoting the Ladli Behen Yojana (Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana) to attract women voters. On October 1, he announced that if women support his government, the financial assistance under the scheme will increase to Rs 3,000. Currently, women aged 21 to 65 receive Rs 1,500 per month.
