Jaishankar expressed a desire to strengthen friendly relations between the two nations. India and Moldova have been improving their ties through high-level meetings, economic cooperation, and cultural exchanges. Additionally, Moldova opened a Resident Mission in New Delhi in June 2023, which marks a significant step in enhancing diplomatic relations with India.
