Sumit Antil won the gold medal in Men's Javelin Throw F64 at the Paris Paralympics 2024. He set a new Paralympic record with a throw of 70.59 meters. This victory, which also retained his Tokyo title, was India's third gold at the Games. He broke his own Paralympic record of 68.55 meters with his first throw of 69.11 meters and then improved it to 70.59 meters on his second try. His other throws were 66.66 meters, 69.04 meters, and 66.57 meters. Indian athletes Sandeep and Sandip Sanjay Sargar finished fourth and seventh, respectively.
