Stock Markets Closed Today for Lok Sabha Polls
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed today, May 20, due to the fifth phase of Lok Sabha General Elections voting. Trading in derivatives, equities, SLBs, currency derivatives, and interest rate derivatives will be suspended. In the commodity derivatives segment, the morning session will be closed from 9 am to 5 pm, while the evening session will be open from 5 pm to 11.55 pm. Trading resumes on Tuesday, May 21.
