The government-run Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) processes over 1.2 crore orders monthly and features more than six lakh sellers. It recently received a gold award at the National Awards for e-Governance for its use of emerging technologies to provide citizen-centric services. ONDC supports a diverse group of sellers, including small businesses, artisans, women entrepreneurs, farmers, and street vendors, helping them compete more effectively and expand their reach to a broader audience.
