Nepal's PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also called 'Prachanda', secured a vote of confidence in Parliament on Monday, marking his fourth win in 18 months. The main Opposition Nepali Congress abstained, citing protests. Prachanda, 69, a former Maoist guerilla leader, garnered 157 out of 275 votes in the House of Representatives, with one member neutral. Nepali Congress boycotted due to accusations against Deputy PM Rabi Lamichhane. Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire confirmed Prachanda's victory as he obtained the majority.
