Initially trailing after Oliver Helander's 83.96-meter throw, Chopra surged ahead with his 85.97-meter effort on his third attempt. Helander had beaten Chopra in the 2022 edition. Toni Keralen's 84.19-meter throw in the fourth round secured him second place in the competition.
