JioCinema has gained 15 million paying subscribers in just 100 days after introducing new subscription plans, according to Mukesh Ambani at Reliance Industries' AGM on August 29. In April, JioCinema changed its pricing to offer monthly plans from Rs 29 to Rs 89, down from Rs 99. This new pricing is much lower than that of competitors like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, and Sony LIV.
