43-Member Indian Team to Compete in World Athletics U20 Championships

A 43-member Indian team will compete in the World Athletics U20 Championships in Peru from August 28 to 31. The team has 23 athletes for men’s events and 20 for women’s events, and will also take part in the 4 x 400 m mixed relay. Key athlete Dipanshu Sharma, the Asian U20 javelin champion, will represent India. The team won seven medals at the Asian Championships in Dubai this April, including golds for Anurag Singh Kaler, Ranvir Singh, Harshit Kumar, Pavana Nagaraj, Ekta Dey, and the women’s 4x400m relay team.
