Over 24,000 Indian-Americans have signed up for a major community event in New York where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak. The event, "Modi & US Progress Together," is set for September 22 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, which has a 15,000-person capacity. Modi will also address the UN General Assembly on September 26. The Long Island event has been organized with support from 590 community groups across the U.S., all acting as 'Welcome Partners.'
